The point you become hoggish, and hope to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your cash. Sounds a little strange, but it appears to be credible. The only time I ever amass money is when I do not care about losing it. I went to the the casino last night with $20. I could not care any less about squandering it, I mean, what is 20 dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in a few hours!
A different occassion I was at the casino with my friend Jeff. I took with me $100 that I couldn’t afford to lose. I got greedy, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and losing it in 30 minutes! The lesson my friends is don’t ever bet more than you are able to squander. If you do not worry about losing, you have a greater opportunity of winning big!
How else can you increase your chances of succeeding at Roulette besides setting a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they hit occasionally, but they don’t come up often enough to ensure a dependable profit. Only bet on 1:1 wagers e.g. red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets for example first dozen, second 12, third 12, etc Wager on odds that pay relatively big.
With the basic rules covered, how else might we further increase our odds of winning at Roulette? By turning probability into our ally, instead of our mortal enemy. "You cannot be a winner at Roulette", my buddy Steve would say to me. "It’s completely arbitrary due to the fact that any number could come up". Sure, my buddy Mike does have a point, but at the same instance, he is missing a critical part of the picture. I totally agree, black or red might hit 30 times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
